that said, there's definitely a segment of Crypto Twitter that is anti-Farcaster (vs. before they didn't know / care). I have my theories, but genuinely curious if people agree / why they think that is

i think it’s hard to find your cozy corner out the gate if you’re a new user and/or your friends are still on Twitter and not here

requires a bit of work and intentionality in that scenario

3. We have Wallet Connect. Just took it out of onboarding since it created more friction. Onchain data doesn't improve retention (we tried for a while).

Auto follow list needs to go and personalization needs to happen during onboarding

New people are thrown into a vacuum 

if the focus is crypto ppl add wallet connect + onchain data powered reco's for channels/people

someone told me “FC is like if you gave Github its own Twitter.”

i love it here and was determined to belong. but as a non-technical person there was an inferior complex i had to overcome to stake out my little corner here, and still it took almost a year. if they aren’t committed to being here there’s no hook
