frames-v2

Looking for feedback from frames developers

We're considering adding common social legos to frames. Think of it as being able to call the Farcaster client natively for:

a. User profile / follow
b. Cast
c. Message

Two questions:

1. Would you use this in your existing frame?
2.  Any other feedback?

Yeah would love to up level to v2 but when @eliperelman looked into it, it seemed like frog/hono was not easily compatible so it would take a fairly significant amount of work

Maybe someone can clarify otherwise but given low overall sustained frame usage and quickly changing standards, it’s hard to justify vs our core roadmap rn

well, it took us awhile to build the first frame. and the v2 timing was like, 3 weeks after we put out the frame. so felt a bit burned by the switch, even tho v2 is vastly improved

we need to know if it's worth the effort for us to build it out vs focus on core product. some info about frame "installs" after the new middle tab update would be compelling to help us decide or not

i think it is not insignificant effort to us to upgrade from what i'm seeing
