Channel member migration plan 1. Last week, we previewed the upcoming channel changes 2. We want to ensure that existing channels have a set of members on Day 1 3. We’re proposing automatically converting active followers → members for channels. 4. We’re optimizing for something straightforward and pragmatic, not perfect. 5. I think this model looks good to me. 1 question - will you create a way to automatically invite ALL current channel followers to be a member? I want all of my current followers as members for engagement in the channel and then I’ll use moderation to filter who can make new casts.

1. If they haven't casted in the Main feed yet, then no. 2. Are you building channel moderation software (or someone is doing it for you)? Because Automod will stop working once we switch over.

Also can still reply and like casts in channels even if they aren't a member.

Oh I missed that part. Nice! Nevermind then lol. That was my concern. I want people casting in the channel to be able to participate in the same convos they are today. Sounds like they will be able to!

Has this changed since the earlier draft? I believe I’ve read in the docs that being able to cast and reply is members-only?
