Underrated: a native animated GIF keyboard in Warpcast has been a request for 2+ years. Now with composer actions, @0xconca.eth was able to build it himself. And now has an opportunity to upsell frequent users to Premium.

i'm all for building an ecosystem, but you'd have to be pretty naive to spend a lot of time building this warpcast is incentivized to create a great experience for users. if users need to pay to use gifs, they clamor for a native version. when that ships, your biz goes poof overnight

A bit cynical? Why go through the effort for building the platform? If we wanted to ship native versions of polls and GIFs, we would have done it. We're walking the walk on building a good UX alongside developers.

if you're going to build a business inside of someone else's app you need to be cynical, vibes aren't enough > if we wanted to ship native versions of polls and GIFs, we would have done it. not necessarily. you can agree it's important and not a priority right now. that isn't a conflicting viewpoint and doesn't mean it won't become a priority later. this is different from building on protocol. app devs don't have the same guarantees as hub consumers / clients and are ultimately secondary to the warpcast biz. i'm glad we got to gif keyboards faster because of it, but pointing out that its a fundamentally different thing
