Imagine a world where thousands of X accounts are cross-posting here.. but aren’t <actually> here Do those accounts count as DAU?

Counts as DAU if they open the app. There are many problems to solve. Need to start with supply.

Is it useful supply if they're not here to engage with responses? It's a better experience to engage with their content on X because they might actually respond. I think that long-term building a culture of crossposting is going to be negative for growth.

For most people on Farcaster, they are still more likely to respond on Farcaster than X. They check Warpcast occasionally. Most of these people won't respond to your account on X. That's the harsh truth.

It's good to know they're checking occasionally. Personally I just don't engage with these accounts. What I've enjoyed about Farcaster is being able to have conversations with equally or more intelligent and thoughtful people, but with much smaller egos.

I think many agree with you. So easy to not follow (or even mute) and then never see them again.
