If an AI agent can generate top 1% supply of the atomic unit whatever your network / protocol / marketplace is optimizing for, why would you care if it was human or not? Value is is value.

Because as a user, when I log into a social network I’m not “optimizing” for what the founder and team are? It’s obvious why founders and investors wouldn’t care, is anyone taking the other side of this argument?

In the past, mostly making a few specific girls and friends in nyc laugh, at present mostly following reporters in a few specific conflict zones I don’t think most users approach social media from a point of trying to *optimize* anything, they’re just trying to access what they perceive as the world. Ai agents will be part of that I don’t doubt

There is a dream of a social media post being a lottery ticket.. and it's valid. the lottery winning is dollars, access, recognition and then there are other benefits dollars · go viral and platform monetizes you · go viral and get brand deals access · reply to PG and get VC investment · reply to tesla and get a job · reply reputation / authority · a track record helps you get recognized for being an expert distribution · have something to sell, viral post means a global audience at your finger tips then knowledge · get news / be in the know, see what the best of the best are saying entertainment · memes
