ill take a shitcasts anyday than opinions from casters here talking about topics theyre not qualified to talk about. it’s a waste of time. love casters like naomi (on sports) who obviously know their skill and talk about their skill, i can learn from them, i don’t have to think twice whether the information im consuming is true, i know it is. the opposite is reading some excerpt from fake gurus who read a line or two on the topic and we both end up going in circles on the replies wasting time. more qualified people, fact check casts and make sure it’s not nonsense before it goes into favor on the rankings by the algo

would love more qualified people. question is what's the incentive for them to join / invest time in farcaster?

i don't know. just thought i'll share my experience on how painful it is scrolling through a pool of opinions not coming from experts (or at least people that are consistent) on the chosen topic. although i can attribute the above to my poor choice of follows - i can't curate my follows flexibly, there's always that fear of insulting someone when you unfollow them while adjusting my follows to better my feed. a soft mute would be super helpful here. i'm aware there's the 'show fewer like this' feature but it doesn't seem to take the hint that i don't want to see the cast of X after hitting 'show fewer...' on their cast multiple times. my max swipe is 3 times trying to look for gold before i fall sleep and close the app. the trending tab does a good service on providing those gold sometimes but there's still a gap of lull there half the time.
