Muting an account should make it disappear 100% from the app. I'd bet the clickthrough rate on this UX is 80%.

btw we know there a few bugs with the Warpcast mute feature -- if you've muted someone and you're still seeing them on an ongoing basis (we don't purge old notifications right now), please let me know

I think there’s at least two ways I use the mute/block feature: - I never want to see or interact with this person again - I am not interested in seeing this persons tweets right now I use the mute function pretty liberally to clean up my feed. Don’t mind an occasional peek. Block I mostly use for bots & trolls.

I disagree. About 50 percent of the time ideas which are offensive often contain some truth, hence the taking of offense. That's why people click thru. They need to turn off the truth, and then back on again to see how they feel about it
