Guessing it will need to be a future cheaper headset that does it though.

It’s the reason no one cares about building Android first when building new products. The money is all on iOS.

“Android had X five years ago” — doesn’t matter because when Apple launches it that’s when it matters for 3rd party devs trying to make money

You'd think that throughout all these years of Apple's domination someone would've reverse-engineered Apple's success and applied it to the Android market.

I guess it's hard to overcome ego, closed feedback loops, lack of vision, and build something that actually works for your customers.
