POV: there is no influx of people waiting to join Farcaster once it goes permissionless other than airdrop farmers.

1. We use Ethereum, so anyone anti-crypto is won’t be convinced in the near term

2. Existing apps are too similar to Twitter, with way less content

I’ve revised my pov on 1 million gated. Need to write up something. 

Goal is permissionless sign ups by end of year, but hopefully sooner.

That said, I don’t think sign up difficulty is the primary issue to solve for right now.

Yeah I remember you mentioned the changed POV in one of the clubhouse meeting.

36 weeks left in this year, we are at 12K. Assuming 5% weekly growth rate, it means we open sign up at ~70K users? (12K * 1.05^36)

Idk if this is helpful but as a guy whose just a guy on here idk what the hell is happening and anytime I look at the feed it does sorta feel like a crypto convention
