One thing ...everyone that was already in a channel does not need an invite.

There might be 20K spam accounts in that following, though. Would be 100x more work to clean up.

Correct sir,

I can see why channels with 100k+ don't want to do that but let them choose just once and then move forward with the current way. 

The change is a great move now instead of later as we can see with those large channels already.
