If you're curious about how the feed works now, it's basically: 

1. Take casts from your following and order them reverse chron 
2. Move casts higher if they're from someone you interact with a lot 
3. Move casts higher if they have a lot of engagement
4. Move casts lower if you've seen them before

would be a geek's dream to have a modular stream ranking system where you could plug-in different algos without having to run different clients.

I’m confident another open source client will do this really well at some point.
