my unsolicited 2 cents is that farcaster feels and is a tight nit community, rather than a network that's a good thing, but also a bad thing for the network? maybe? every time i open up warpcast, every cast is either referencing some new "iykyk" meta, or about crypto and as someone who isnt as interested in crypto as i used to be, i use fc less, because fc casts are very crypto/meta heavy, and if you dont know the meta, you're out of the loop if i had to ask Dan one question, it would be if he see's this as a positive or a negative, does Dan want casts to very crypto centric or more broad/different topics?

Of course I would like more people talking about more topics. Challenge is you can’t really grow by going broad. Need to go deep and then expand.

how long have you been at this thesis and has it materialized in last 6 months? (My current formed opinion as informed outsider deep (2-3yrs), expand its shown results like 3-4mths, my own opinion/guess)

Given what happened with Twitter and FTX in 2022, we were never going to win on a political axis, certainly not with an initial core community from crypto. The original plan was decentralized social was contrarian enough for 4-5 years. That was wrong. So have had to shift focus to something even more cryptonative to create differentiation.
