I was one of the first doordash customers when they first launched during YC. I ordered ramen from a local place in Mountain View on what I believe was a Google Form. A little while later, 3 guys drove up to my house in a Honda Accord wearing Doordash swag. "You must be the founders" They laughed and nodded

You know what Doordash did that was a massive differentiator when they launched? Dropping the food off at the door silently and going the fuck away. No knocking, accepting something from somebody, awkwardly signing a receipt, or making small talk. I don't like to pay for it often, but I will always use Doordash.
