Waymo cars still almost 2x the cost of a Tesla?

Again, goes back to my original question -- when does it become unit economic positive? :)

I would hope Waymo long term isn’t attempting to retrofit every car but could be wrong. 

Tesla is not equipped to run same competency so it’s not apples to apples anyway

The cost difference doesn't matter if Tesla is never confident enough in Robotaxis to accept the legal responsibility of them driving fully autonomously.

Waymo is responsible for any incidents. The responsibility for incidents is currently the individual Tesla owners.
