Maybe not traditional “influencer”, but plenty of economic value has been created for people who have taken Farcaster seriously over the last few years. Beyond the onchain opportunities, plenty of people got jobs and raised funding as a result. ymmv

I was saying elsewhere that “influencer” might not be the best term here since we are a niche social corner. eg people that are influencer-esque here might be better termed as “lifestyle personalities” but the idea of brand deals and mass reach may be early and/or incompatible with this space. Web3 is still too risky and opaque for mass adoption in a lot of ways. So scalability is capped at the people who are here and already “get it” vs the accessibility of web2 (everyone who has a phone or computer)

Agree, but people are definitely able to “monetize”, albeit differently. No MLM needed :)

It would be pretty funny if you had an affiliate link for AG1 in your bio though. I was saying elsewhere that the OGs put a lot into community and gained huge value from that. As with anywhere, the ancillary benefits are largely not in anyone’s control. We have “personalities” for sure with as many endgames
