How are people feeling about the channels change?

Honest feedback requested!

- Enable open channels as an option; it would be nice for new casters to find visiblity somewhere
- Enable join requests, I don’t know why creating a new type of notification or inbox is a bad idea
- Don’t hide replies to channel casts from non-members, the hidden replies should be reserved for people who were marked as spammers. Just give channel members an indicator in the replies

How do you deal with spam if the channel is open?

Was the channel change more about reducing the need to moderate channels? Channel mods could simply remove a member who consistently posts off-topic
