For so long fc was *only* highly engaged people. Love the growth but worried we’re losing the magic

Nothing. I think the natural outcome of people making $ in the FC ecosystem is that people will try to game (even with paid signups). 

That said, I think it's important for both WC and the builder ecosystem to not overpivot on raw numbers. Retention is all that matters. I have no doubt you're thoughtful about this.
