grow up

makes zero sense for one person to control a channel like that. We know we get far less engagement when we don't post in channels yet many channels are setup against us sharing more of our ideas. Take /politics and /ai

Channels don't give you any boost in distribution. 

They used to, but that didn't work.

So we moved away from it.

A lot of people still use them. 

A lot people have spent a lot of time building communities.

We have clients building on them.

They work for communities, bad for topics.

We do not push them to new users.

any thoughts on removing them completely?
