there are ~20 restaurant quality dishes that I can grocery shop + cook without needing to reference anything almost all came from - buy a cookbook, cook ~5 recipes, 2-3 stick - decide to learn how to cook something (i.e. salmon, salad, wok dishes), find and cook ~5 recipes, 2-3 stick great investment

- lamb + pistachio patties w/ cucumber salad + eggplant - bolognese (usually on pappardelle but sometimes parlayed into chicken paramesan or eggplant lasanga) - braised chicken w/ fennel in tomato + wine sauce - grilled ancho salmon w/ a corn vingaigrette (great cold on farrow salad next day) - steak those 5 probably make up 50% of what we cook, all but steak are great left over so we do 2-3lbs of the protein
