1/ If you're providing feedback on "spam", it's really helpful if you're precise.

Is the cast:

1. Uninteresting — a "low effort reply", i.e. something that's boring or off-topic

2. Spammy — focused on getting something for free that you're not interested in, etc.

3. Malicious — phishing link, harassment

#1 is not a problem that needs solving, adds complexity where it need not be 

2 & 3 are solid

Actually #1 is the primary problem that people are complaining about.

You're exactly right. If you're a mutal, a low effort reply is friendly, likely funny.

If you're a stranger, less likely.

the problem is that its context dependent (we respond to friends differently, etc), & adding tips on top of it will create too many false positives since it’s algo filtered

for large accounts, I guess so

but if that’s the message you’re getting, you guys know better 🫡
