Probably will have slaves at the factory or something. VCs are incapable of funding things that don’t have some societal drawback

I can rebut this, but I am unsure we have shared moral foundation / agreed upon definition of ‘net good’ which in turn makes the rebuttal somewhat pointless. From everything I can see you are a utilitarian and I am more… not. I think there are absolute rights and wrongs independent of outcomes From that a utilitarian perspective — you are correct about Google, yes. And from a very blunt and short sighted utilitarian point of view, you could even say — keccers u big dumb, if 10k slaves have a bad time it is worth it for 100 million improved lives. (Setting a precedent for slavery sets a foundation for 100 million + negatively impacted lives, which is why the smart utilitarian pauses. But there’s a case) I tend to be far less of a min/maxer. I think there are things you Should Not Do, and I struggle with 2025 tech bc of this, my frustration clearly evident as it were :)

I'd be intellectually interested in your argument that Google is net negative.
