Apple has a chance to make ar/vr mainstream though. Guessing it will need to be a future cheaper headset that does it though.

apple does nothing "mainstream" the only market where apple has penetrated enough of a share is usa (or 4% of global population)

It’s the reason no one cares about building Android first when building new products. The money is all on iOS. “Android had X five years ago” — doesn’t matter because when Apple launches it that’s when it matters for 3rd party devs trying to make money

i'm afraid you're *very* biased towards usa market "no one cares about building Android first" is *wrong* for *most* people in the world india builds android-first, so does china, so does africa, and so does europe more and more frequently get out of the box you put yourself into when discussing global trends
