Canada put almost $2 billion into beefing up the border in response to Trump's stated concerns about a month ago at least now. Less than 1% of the fent in the USA is coming across via the Canadian border and the same with illegal immigrants. Yet for some reason Trump still imposed tariffs at the same rate as he did with Mexico and now he's delaying the Mexico tariffs for a month? Seems a bit uneven to me. Something tells me the tariffs targeted at Mexico will still happen next month even with Mexico sending thousands of troops to beef up their border security.
