I watched Wall-E again after ages as I was showing it to my daughter. 

I realized Pixar had an issue - how do you have a silent robot but then tell you complex things like hopes and dreams. And they solve it ingeniously - Wall-E watching old Hollywood movies about love. 

Brilliant solve to a hard problem.

Underrated film, esp. making a robot who doesn't talk lovable.

I watched the first part again today and amazing how a five year old can follow along without any dialog with some very complex concepts.
