In 24 hours the domain for the last startup I founded everyname.xyz expires

We exited the company Q4 last year and it looks like the acquirer isn't going to do anything with it

Feeling some strange mix of nostalgia, joy, and grief that @so @johanna and I built something super useful but also that it might go offline entirely tomorrow after all the effort we put into building it

What is this called? Post acquisition syndrome?

Should I even keep Everyname in my FC profile given there is now limited evidence that it ever existed (except for mentions in blogs, X, some casts here)?

so frustrating when stuff just disappears like that. but yeah, idk if it's worth keeping Everyname on your FC profile if there's barely any proof left. maybe just move on and update with more recent stuff?

I'm about to update it :) Two months ago was still a full time dad which to most outside of /parenting probably wasn't interesting tbh — but you make a good point
