The first electric BMW of the new generation will be shown in September

BMW has confirmed the debut of the first commercial model from the Neue Klasse battery line. The Neue Klasse project is one of the key stages of BMW's further development strategy. It will be a crossover of the X3 format, which will be called iX3. Its official premiere is scheduled for the September exhibition in Munich. The statement was made as part of the concern's conference dedicated to the results of 2024 and plans for the future.

The assembly of the BMW iX3 will be established at a plant in Debrecen, Hungary, towards the end of 2025. In 2026, the crossover will be joined by a sedan on the same platform, which should become an alternative to the fuel family of the 3 Series. With a high degree of probability, it will receive the i3 index.
