The 2025 BMW M5 is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 4.4-liter V8 engine and one electric motor. The combined output of the system reaches 727 hp, and the combined torque is 1,000 Nm. The engine works with an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission. The transmission provides acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds and an electric range of 40 km.
