What is the best way to compose a dynamic image for use in social sharing? 

For example, when I share a Warpcast URL to a friend, it generates a preview. How is this done without needing to upload and store an image somewhere?

Since warpcast is built on open data

It's easily recognized 

Especially on a pc or desktop

My WhatsApp also does that

i love the enthusiasm but there is no way meta is special casing this

i'm 99% certain that the warpcast team has found a way to dynamically generate or render these thumbnails based on the url and serve it via the opengraph standard, i'm just not sure how

Just tried it on my X sending a cast to a fren and the preview still came up.

Probably built some code anywhere the "warpcast.com" pops up, then the preview to that link shows
