I’m a bit out of the loop: what is the latest developer support for FIP-2? Here is my use case: I want users to be able to leave replies on specific tokens to create a global comment section. For example, replying directly to “Fidenza #0” via Farcaster and having a way to view all other people who have done so.

Totally doable. Use add parentUrl to casts. That can be CAIP-19 or any arbitrary string (eg url) The downside is how the casts are displayed in WC. ‘Reply to external content’. That may or may not bother you & your app users. These are under explored context-containers.

Any way to make it cast to a channel and set to cast only in that channel without displaying to "everyone"...?

There is no concept of private in FC. A client app can filter but that’s about it. WC currently displays these out of context which makes cast look kinda spammy.

Yeah I recall during the euros and ur casts were blowing up I'm just referring to something like this, at least other users won't see those casts except in the channel only or they tend to go through profile and not notifications blowing up😅

Client app decision. WC doesn’t support that atm for FIP-2 targets/‘channels’
