being relentlessly optimistic is an underrated skill. being realistic is not the same as being pessimistic. reality produces correction in action, pessimism results in lack of action

In Project Management, we learn that pessimism is actually not as bad as people take it Because we have to create room for errors that could occur, so being overly optimistic is quite a problem, adding some bits of pessimism helps
