being relentlessly optimistic is an underrated skill. being realistic is not the same as being pessimistic. reality produces correction in action, pessimism results in lack of action

In Project Management, we learn that pessimism is actually not as bad as people take it Because we have to create room for errors that could occur, so being overly optimistic is quite a problem, adding some bits of pessimism helps

Reality guides us to correct our actions, while pessimism often leads to inaction.

I think being relentlessly optimistic is a skill that takes practice too. It's not something that you are just born with. Or at least I wasn't. It's easy to be pessimistic and negative. Gotta train yourself to see the good.

EXACTLY Been saying this. Sometimes people make me feel like I’m being negative, whereas I’m just being realistic Leave delusion, face reality and try to work out your way in the possible best manner so things turn out good.

My philosophy for my project(s) is to be as excited as a child, as rebellious/disruptive as a teen, as determined/hungry as a young adult, as crisis aversive as an adult and as composed and detail oriented as an old sage.

Absolutely. Relentless optimism, when paired with realism, is a powerful mindset. It enables you to maintain a positive outlook while still acknowledging and addressing challenges.
