I tried yellow watermelon for the first time as an adult and I really like it. It has less watermelon flavor, more honey like sweetness, slightly citrusy and a very slight undertone of sweet earthiness like a pumpkin in some of the sweeter riper parts. 8/10 - would really like to have this in a salad

In Korea, it's called "mango watermelon," and it's sold here. When I tried it, it tasted sweeter than regular watermelon, and I didn't really notice the earthy flavor. Could it be a different variety?
