Tetradrachm – A month’s wage for a skilled craftsman or a slave’s market price (lower tier)

Drachm – One day’s wage for a skilled worker, a modest pair of sandals, 3–4 liters of olive oil

Tetrobol or Hemidrachm – A light meal in a tavern, modest clay lamp, low-cost pottery

Obol – One serving of cheap street food, basic lamp oil, entrance fee to the theater (often subsidized so poorer citizens could attend)
