It seems like it Look at the business incentive; more people request rides during a busy time, hoping their driver is late. If lots of drivers are late, it costs Lyft money. They will create systems that disincentivize drivers from being late. It creates an adversarial dynamic Think 30 min or > free pizza troupes

It has to be a scheduled airport ride – I don’t think this will cause people to book rides when they don’t need one I think it just causes more people to feel confident choosing Lyft instead of Uber for that ride
