ted life tip: if you want to use the internet in a way that is most likely to add to your overall wellbeing, approach it as a social *network* and NOT social *media*. the social network approach cares about replies, DCs, URL-to-IRL meetings, ongoing convos the social media approach cares about views, likes, followers

Sadly I think most networks go from social to marketing / business over time due to incentives. Then people start acting more like businesses and it gets weird.
