If I were to win 1 ETH, I’d like to say I would give back to the community or buy some cool coins, but this mom of 6 is thinking of her family. 😉 Portion would go to my two year old son’s medical bills mainly for his oxygen equipment. His bill for that is out the roof. The rest would go to fixing my mom mobile. Took a toll driving back and forth through Canada. Had to for my son’s multiple heart surgeries. (He has Hypoplastic left heart syndrome.) My vehicle has been sitting for more than a year. I currently get my groceries delivered or use my father in laws truck when I can however doesn’t have enough room for all of us. Not complaining I’m very blessed. Just having my vehicle back would help tremendously, especially for my kiddos. (Blanked out full name and address. Left last name.)

Onchain mortgages seem like the final boss for DeFi. Cross jurisdictional. Tied to permissioned, off chain, sometimes off line, state based systems. No onchain recourse to claim the collateral asset in the event of default. Sounds hard. But there’s also a wealth of opportunity. Here in Australia for example I cannot access a permanently fixed interest rate on a mortgage, the default is a variable rate and essentially all fixed rate loans revert to variable after a maximum of 5 years. This is because we don’t have a well established mortgage backed securities (MBS) market that off loads the risk of long term fixed rate mortgages for banks. With a global onchain mortgage market and a tokenised MBS market behind it there would be more competition, more consumer choice and greater access to home ownership globally as a result. Sounds worth doing. 🏡

Congrats to $clanker for getting listed yesterday on @coinbase Even that I'm a DEX maxi, I feel that for any coin getting listed on the top CEX in the world and @coinbase is rightly so is one. It should be one of the cores goals and achievements for a coin to get listed there. In the future I image Coinbase will eventually fully migrate over to the onchain world and listing might morph into something more like a verified badge of honour issued by governing body onchain of a respective token list, but nevertheless I believe it would carry on the same meaning of achievement and recognition as of today. P.S. this is a good news for both @base & @farcaster coins. cc @proxystudio.eth good job, ser!
