i receive most of my tips through my own tool, /microsub, which many of you know automates tip distribution /microsub's systems faithfully use allowance data from @degentokenbase's official APIs to determine how much $DEGEN to distribute each day allowances commonly fluctuate (sometimes drastically) day-to-day, and we were unaware at the time that there were bugs causing inflated allowances. /microsub did its job exactly as designed and tipped out those allowances fully. @fookinnowan and i discussed this and to my knowledge @jacek is aware of what happened. i'm not sure how he wants to address the situation; the tips were already sent (again, automatically) and recorded in Dune. i will support any decision @jacek makes on the matter above is my account of exactly what transpired, and anyone can verify as much by reviewing the public records on Dune i'm also happy to answer any questions whatsoever about the situation!

what's microsob? can i sobscribe? all kidding aside, i did benefit from the bug too (inflated allowance). i reported it once i found out (early in the season) and then paid no attention to it until now. having said that, i'm behind you and whatever jacek decides to do i know it's subjective, but to my best knowledge you supported some of the highest quality DAUs with your allo

i appreciate you! i intentionally subscribe to folks who are building for the good of Farcaster or contributing engaging content your comment makes the "theft" accusation seem even more silly because we give the tips away...not to ourselves 🤷♂️

I suppose I have benefitted from the allowance too. With respect to having microsub, and setting and forgetting the allowances. I didn’t actually pay much attention to the allowances, I was more like oh, I’ve got a higher allowances. It seems like everyone does, nifty. I didn’t mess around with mcdegen much, I didn’t quite understand why it was a thing. The more I read about this the more I’m intrigued about what happens next. I was appreciative of the chat tho, good learning lessons. That said, I tipped who I thought were people who made an influence on my life. I didn’t quite understand the inflation. I would say that I understand the impact now.
