I completely ignore memes. It feels to much like a gamble to me …and I‘m really bad at gambling

i don't gamble for the same reasons, but i believe there's a nuance to it (e.g. poker is viewed by many as gambling, but i don't mind paying a fee — cause it's fun).

clanker mania was interesting to me, because it combines many of my favorite things — memes, farcaster, new tech (AI in this case). so i kind of followed along and jumped on memes i thought had potential to try and see whether i had the taste. i even had small wins here & there, but i feel it's starting to take a toll on me so i have to draw the line.

yes, definitely. the best example is superanon — the story is kind of complicated, but tldr is that someone anonymously created $ANON token while woj, the superanon builder, was asleep. and it went up like crazy (currently at ~30M market cap). people would send $ANON to woj as a sort of community support / reward kind of thing and he airdropped it to supercast customers. the airdrop is now worth around $300k (back then it was maybe 10-15x less).

That sounds wild (the clanker thing) did anyone actually made gains on clanker?
