sounds like a lot of work, just wait for chinese to build a superior client. they will open source it too
kidding aside, rebranding to farcaster *without* opensourcing is bad so i think this is a necessary condition.
- the confusion is real, i know i struggled with it in the beginning and i'm pretty technical
- from the branding perspective, the focus should be on the majority (users - client), not on the minority (devs - protocol)
- i think it makes sense then to rename the protocol to "farcaster protocol", or even, as @maxp.eth in the replies suggested, "cast protocol" (love it, so smooooth)
- farcaster is badass, warpcast is meh
- i grew fond of "warplet" and i don't know what to do about it 0 reply
