Yes bird watching is such a great additional skill to have to better enjoy the outdoors imo. Crazy how much you miss when you don't know they're out there.

idk much about bird watching but i just watched “the bird in my backyard” film on the banff film festival tour and it was one of my favorite films from this year and definitely gave me a greater appreciation for bird watching
