I am not sure how this is happening. All my biomarkers are getting worse. My heart health in the garbage. I’m fatter but still lean like my clothes still fit and I still got Nile River my bicep vein. But holeeee moleeee I am notching some crazy strength PRs. I’m gonna easily bench a plate this year when I can find someone around this town to spot me

This could be a case of recovery not keeping up with output—diet, stress, and sleep often fly under the radar until they show up in metrics.

But wouldn’t that affect my ability to get stronger too? Why I am a little confused

Not necessarily it’s possible to build strength even when other factors are off, like stress or recovery, because strength gains are often more neural (your brain learning to recruit muscle more efficiently). That said, if biomarkers are slipping long-term, it could cap your potential eventually. Dialing in recovery now will only level you up further
