They did their best. It’s only when you become parent yourself that you realise you parent had not manual no tutorial, that they didn’t have the absolute truth about everything and that they just did the best they could. Just like you.

Raising me Growing up, I think we all had a rebellious stage, I did and my mum would scold me so much I thought we would never be close, but todays she’s my best friend I see for example, cousins, how disrespectful they are rn and it’s disappointing Im grateful for the love in correction she showed me, Im the young, amazing woman today because of her 🥰

Didn’t mean my birth dad till I was 31… My birth mom was horrible. Thankfully I was adopted at age 13. Spent 7 years with them and it was heaven. The biggest thing I appreciate is how much love they showed towards each other. Never once did they argue or fight. If they had a disagreement they talked it over. ❤️

hi dear @drrrner.eth 🌹 My father taught me one sentence when I was a child: believe in yourself, maybe he is in sky now, but I have promised him that I will become a great person in the future, no matter how hard the path is, but I know I can🙂🪽

One thing my parents did right was teaching me resilience. They showed me that no matter how tough life gets, there’s always a way forward. Whether it was through their sacrifices, the lessons they shared, or the way they handled hardships, they instilled in me the mindset to never give up. That has shaped everything I do today.

My parents prioritized my education above all else, ensuring I attended one of the best schools in our city. No matter the cost, they made sure I had access to the highest quality education, never letting financial concerns stand in the way of my future.

When my brother was born, my mom went all in on being a parent. She took child development classes, became a stay at home mom, and was always very involved in mine and my brothers lives. While we often struggled with money, she always made sure we were taken care of.

Kindness. But honestly, in life so far, I’ve mostly been hurt because of it. Still, as my mom says, be kind anyway, because your heart needs kindness to flow within it to feel okay.💛 https://warpcast.com/dandelion/0x8c9fc4ef

I don't even remember why I did it, but when I was in elementary school I was in a rowboat on the ocean with my mother and sister. After a while, we realized that we had drifted too far out to return under our own power. And then we drifted for a few hours as it was. As it began to get dark, a fishing boat luckily passed nearby and we were rescued. If I had not been rescued by a fishing boat at that time, I might have been fish food by now.
