The strongest evidence, though I’m not sure if this classifies as longevity, is in HRT specifically for women in improving cardiovascular outcomes quieter significantly if started early enough (first sign of symptoms). 

One place I will say that hormones can be qualified as longevity is that both estrogen and testosterone preserve/prevent decline. 

In women this means bone protection, CVS and recent studies have shown mitochondrial preservation from estradiol. Women’s health study really did a disservice in this regard.

For men, it’s slightly more subjective since most evidence is all-cause mortality in a few studies; with real cardiac risk if given too late/much. This is where there a lot of muddling and hype imo. It’s definitely important but personally in practice I like to go to the etiology of a drop, especially if younger. And if no improvement then try precursors even and give if needed. But too much hype around it right now.
