The thing about being old and experienced is that you realize you were a moron when you were young and how you good ideas were a lot worse that you thought they were

A good mix of cockiness and self loathing fueled most of my success in my 20s so you're probably right. No matter what you do you are gonna be embarrassed of most of it in 20 years so might as well go for it.

I think this by default and it has not gone well. I think leaning into the arrogance is the best strategy for me
