I Took a Photo!

I took a photo of Brie Larson and John Gallagher Jr. who starred in the movie Short Term 12 together. I've stayed in touch with John since then and turns out our parents live about two miles away from each other.

No, I was covering the SXSW film festival for the Village Voice and LA Weekly. The funny thing is I would never have covered that movie, but I was doing a favor for the publicist. I had no idea Brie would go on to become an academy award winning actress/ Marvel super hero.
