Hi everyone 🌻
When applying for the grant, I mentioned that one of my goals was to formally establish the project as an NGO. Since the grant was approved - giving me the confidence that I was on the right path - I gathered three trusted friends, and together, we began structuring the Instituto Carvalho Emenekwum.
With this formalization, the Institute will support Roots of Love not just as a project, but as an ongoing and scalable program within the organization.
Today, with guidance and support, we have successfully completed the development of our Bylaws, which brought us a lot of joy!
As soon as we register the document, we'll take the next step toward legally establishing the NGO under Brazilian law.
This will bring us closer to achieving our goal of partnering with São Paulo’s Department of Social Development, allowing us to reach the families who need most.
I’ll be back soon with more updates on the structure of the Institute and our next steps.
Thank you all for dreaming with us! 🧡 2 replies

Sure!
Here’s a bit about my co-founders:
Felipe – With a degree in Administration, he's dad of an autistic kid (my son), he's a musician and has been deeply involved in the skateboarding scene for many years. As the Coordinator of Sports and Partnerships, he combines his professional skills and personal passion, using skateboarding as a tool for inclusion and empowerment.
Natasche – A graduate in Law and Advertising, Natasche is also a mother of a neurodivergent girl, which fuels her dedication to our mission. As the Executive Secretary, Communication Coordinator, and Financial Supervisor, she ensures smooth operations, transparent finances, and impactful communication strategies. 0 reply
