Fondry is my new overall favorite pastry shop in LA, though Petitgrain has a better croissant. Unfortunately you currently need to get there at least 30 minutes before opening.

have you tried the croissant presse? ps, you can get some of these pastries at Kumquat in DTLA (and i believe Highland Park) and skip the line ☻
