agree with it or not, his argument is actually fairly strong if you believe certain ideas of yours to be good don't you have a moral imperative to pursue them if you believe certain ideas to be bad don't you have a moral imperative to stop them

He’s saying the best way to pursue moral causes is to first sell out and make a lot of money. Opposite is what Elon does. If you want to accelerate sustainable energy, build an EV car company. If you want people to go to Mars, build a rocket company.

I understand what you're saying but Elon built and sold two companies before any of the afformentioned causes were started. and he did them to fund the afformentioned.
