friend sent me a list of altcoins and asked for my thoughts. below is my maybe controversial response I loosely hold this thesis and acknowledge there are many edge cases that contradict it. But there are lessons to be learned all the way back from the GameStop saga to pump.fun making $180m so far this year. financial nihilism in the 2020s will be studied one day

right take of where we are. question is what happens now. imho, new regulatory environment and optimism for something more will lead to the rise of more productive projects (DePIN, data daos, DeSci, ...).

productive projects will be possible to value based on earnings, etc - this puts a limit on valuation with memes, there is no limit
